Freevo 2.0 (or kaa.epg at this point) has more than one backend and you can use more than one as source. Two Schedule Direct Accounts are not possible (yet). > Does the TV server handle that, or a combination of the TV server > and the Frontend? TV server is the one server all clients say what they want to record or watch and the tv devices are used by the tv server to do that. > Out of curiousity, how usuable/stable/featured is Freevo 2.0 at this point? Usable, but the TV part is broken ATM. > Are there plans to add the distributed functionality to the 1.X > series? I know Duncan's been making a lot of changes for the 1.8 > stream. At some point we have to discuss this. When Freevo 2.0 was created, the 1.x branch was dead. Now that it is alive we have to think about a feature merge. When 2.0pre1 is out I hope people will start to port stuff from the 1.x branch. Dischi -- Unnamed Law: If it happens, it must be possible.
