Freevo 2.0 (or kaa.epg at this point) has more than one backend and
you can use more than one as source. Two Schedule Direct Accounts are
not possible (yet).

TV server is the one server all clients say what they want to record
or watch and the tv devices are used by the tv server to do that.

Usable, but the TV part is broken ATM.

At some point we have to discuss this. When Freevo 2.0 was created,
the 1.x branch was dead. Now that it is alive we have to think about a
feature merge. When 2.0pre1 is out I hope people will start to port
stuff from the 1.x branch.
