How do you start Freevo? May be Freevo is reading /etc/freevo/local_conf.py
instead of yours?
First of all try to run Freevo from /home/eco/.freevo and check if Freevo
reads your local_conf.py
Take into account that Freevo will always read a local_conf.py in the
directory where it is run.
