In their zeal for security the "FREEVO DREAM TEAM" who are resposible for
maintaining a highly useful package for a very popular distribution decided
to intentionally break the existing and working package to force the user to
use a non-root account. Great, they must be applauded for their intiative
but in doing so they broke the package so badly that is not possible to get
it to work. I had to clear my system and purge it completely before manually
and painstakingly installing freevo from sources. At least this worked,
unlike the abortion the DREAM TEAM have gloriously unleased upon the masses.
Do they not have some small responsibility to test their experimentations
before subjecting them to the end user?
Please revert back to the non broken version and put an end to this
security by hand holding.
