Sorry for disturbing, Actually, i managed to solve my issue. There was a mistake in my local_config.py apparently, because I got this message in the log:
failed to load plugin rom_drives.rom_items start 'freevo plugins -l' to get a list of plugins Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freevo/plugin.py", line 557, in __load_plugin__ p = eval(object)() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freevo/plugins/rom_drives.py", line 203, in __init__ init() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freevo/plugins/rom_drives.py", line 99, in init (dir, device, name) = config.ROM_DRIVES[i] ValueError: too many values to unpack I removed the ROM_DRIVES line from local_config.py file, and let Freevo auto-detect my rom drive.
