Hi. This is quite an old thread, I know. But a similar question has arised, and I'm interesting. Did you find any solution for this? In the new thread, the problem seems to be using freevo -fs. xv doesn't work in that case, but mplayer is run with multiple vx options, so you think that you are running the same command inside and outside freevo, but it isn't true. How do you start freevo?
