-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
I am wondering if there is any effort being made to make PSIP electronic programming guide information available in Freevo. Quoting Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Program_and_System_Information_Protocol): > The Program and System Information Protocol (PSIP) is the protocol > used in the ATSC digital television system for carrying metadata > about each channel in the broadcast transport stream of a TV station > and for publishing information about television programs so that > viewers can select what to watch by title and description. I watch only free to air digital TV and I would very much like to use PSIP for the source for my EPG. Digging around, I found one GPL-ed project, ATSCAP (http://sourceforge.net/projects/atscap-gpl/), which uses PSIP information for its own EPG, so there is some effort being made in the FOSS domain in this area. Thanks in advance, Michael -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFJM/7RjQbu/rCGTkYRAv0eAKDAA+ao4vSrrSTSgdyVD/fxx1VpDQCg5ek6 Zpq8IfXLTUmToywQnLj6rYg= =9xQD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Freevo-users mailing list Freevo-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freevo-users
