Which distribution are you using? In the wiki there is a page that explains
how to install Freevo on Ubuntu 8.04 from source (
http://doc.freevo.org/FreevoAptUbuntu). May be this recipe can help you
about dependencies.
Also, you can enable a more detailed level of debug in local_conf.py:
DEBUG = 2
DEBUG_CHILDAPP = 2
