Dear John,

Thank you for your fast replies and tips. Apparently there was some bad
reference to /usr/bin/fbxine in my ~/.freevo/freevo.conf (do I still need
that file?). Running 'freevo setup' helped. :)

I love Freevo 1.8.3. I set the parameter 'FREEVO_USE_ALPHABLENDING = True',
which gives Freevo just that little bit of a "bling-bling" feeling and a
hint of how the all new and improved Freevo 2 interface will blow us all
away.

Note: after running 'freevo serup', which creates ~/.freevo/freevo.conf, I
had to edit that file to set my TV from 'ntsc' to 'pal' and my challel list
to 'europe-west'.

Thanks, Michel
