Hi all
I have setup the livepause plugin but have been using it only for recording tv.
This part works.
When I attempted to watch tv I never got any output but always thought it was
something to do with vlc, as if i didnt have something installed correctly.
When looking deeper I found that any media player I choose, vlc, xine or
mplayer, attempts to connect to the dvbstreamer stream at the wrong address.
when I attempt to watch a show, and then run lssfs on dvbstreamer, it says that
it is streaming on udp://127.0.0.1:1235
<Primary> : udp://127.0.0.1:1235 (ABC1) - for example
I have turned on the debugging for freevo and child apps but when I look at the
logs freevo says that the media player is going to attempt to connect to the
stream form http://localhost:50007
/usr/bin/mplayer -slave -autosync 100 -nolirc -nojoystick -autoq 100 -screenw
1366 -screenh 768 -fs -ao oss:/dev/dsp /vo xv,sdl,x11 -cache 5000 -vf pp=de/fd
http://localhost:50007 http://localhost:50007
Also, i cannot workout why freevo is giving all the media players the stream
address twice.
I can play movies and recorded tv without a problem.
My video group looks as follows.
TV_VIDEO_GROUPS = [
VideoGroup(vdev='mediacenterhostname:0',
desc='Mediacenter DVB',
group_type = 'dvb',
record_group=None)
Matt
