MeTV doesn't have much in the way of docs, but i worked out that you must have 
a digital tuner, and you must have a working channels.conf.
I'm not sure what format you have for that channels.conf, as there are a 
couple. You need one which will work for mplayer.
If you have that working, let us know.
And if not, we need to know if you can't get it to work
