I was going to add this to the Wiki, but I forgot to write how I did it. In freevo or one of the helper apps is a command to create a TV_CHANNELS listing from the TV.xml file. I am trying to update the TVtime setup in freevo. If you don't need ivtv_xine's features it is really good.
