Maybe `WebRemote' should be a menu button on the menu bar across the top?
Anyway, here are the results from Android: - if I click the `Freevo WebRemote' link, nothing happens - if I go to the Android browser settings, and enable pop-ups, clicking the link displays a blank pop-up - if I manually enter the URL, http://server-ip:8080/webremote.rpy then it does work It seems to look best with the phone in the vertical position, but you still have to scroll a little. If you zoom to fit it all in, then the buttons become a bit small and hard to press with the touch pad. The words `Freevo WebRemote' appear in the HTML title and also in the page itself - removing this from the page would allow more room for the buttons on a tiny screen like this. Also, it may be desirable to offer a more compact button layout. Browser detection could probably be used to show the more compact layout by default on handheld devices. Technically, the buttons seem to work fine, and the only real hassle is that you have to unlock the screen every time you want to change channel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensing option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects _______________________________________________ Freevo-users mailing list Freevo-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freevo-users
