I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo E which has, I think, a Futaba dm140 VFD. When I try to acitvate the lcd plugin, it complains that it cannot find a screen for a 2x18 display (5x8 matrix).
Activating the lcd2 (2x16) plugin works a lot better but with one slight irritation. The last character of the first line is incomplete: the right-most one or two columns of the matrix are missing but appear at the start of the second line.
