I have a good idea for freevo: A real mpd interface (eg: using libmpdclient, and not simply parsing mpc's output). I recently tested an mpd client called GMPC [1] and it looks really impressive. It would be neat to have an interface similar to this, with the ability to load or create playlists, and to leave part of the complexity to mpd. It could even have visualizations via projectM [2].
Any thoughts on that?
