Some of you may be familiar with the 'one last fiddle' to the setup which then breaks a lot of things - in this case perl and mencoder and tv_grab. This morning I started a reinstall process and upgrade to Debian testing. After try 2 I got most things running and freevo installed. I had a lot of difficulty getting my new local_conf.py read. Freevo was reading /etc/freevo/local_conf.py.example or /etc/freevo/local_conf.py.old instead of the edited /etc/freevo/local_conf.py. Once I did a complete rename of the files I was able to see my config.
It's not all roses, though. A kernel upgrade too far killed my ethernet and then the dvb-t stick. Has anyone got a HD-Home Run working for Freevo tv? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep Your Developer Skills Current with LearnDevNow!
