Hi.
I can't make it work. I build the driver but it makes no difference. Then,
in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf I added this:
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "NOVA T-500 Remote" # Or whatever you want to call it
MatchProduct "IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver|Hauppauge WinTV
Nova-T-500|*Hauppauge*" # Replace this with your device name.
MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
Driver "evdev"
Option "event_key_remap" "352=28" # and so on.
#CodeChangedFrom=CodeChangedTo
EndSection
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "Gamepad q3" # Or whatever you want to call it
MatchProduct "DragonRise Inc. DragonRise USB Gamepad " # Replace this
with your device name.
MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
Driver "evdev"
Option "event_key_remap" "290=28 1=28 42=288" # and so on.
EndSection
I tried with the remote and a simple gamepad. No change. I have the feeling
that it doesn't match, but:
root@tinglao:/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d# evtest /dev/input/event1
Input driver version is 1.0.0
Input device ID: bus 0x3 vendor 0x79 product 0x1 version 0x110
Input device name: "DragonRise Inc. DragonRise USB Gamepad "
root@tinglao:/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d# evtest /dev/input/event5
Input driver version is 1.0.0
Input device ID: bus 0x3 vendor 0x2040 product 0x8400 version 0x100
Input device name: "IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver"
Supported events:
also, I've tried removing the MatchProduct line and the same. Where can I
see the events that go to X?
thanks
