I wouldn't suggest attempting to try the git version, I'd try the
1.9.2b2 that's available from sourceforge. The git repo is not stable
and shouldn't be considered for day-to-day use, it's very much for
experimentation at the moment and likely won't be released as focus
shifts to version 2.

As for bugs they can be record at the github repo.
