Next time we will perform better. We have a new team and some
misunderstandings are normal. I will pull in the changes from trunk
in a few minutes. Can all of you please test and use the stable
branch and provide patches for that, instead of commiting
interesting stuff for 1.0 to trunk? That would make me the sync to
trunk easier. It is to late to complain, let us just fix the issues
we have, we are on a good way. A good and well tested release is
better than something which breaks a lot of routers.
Dirk is right, at the moment our user base is very small, so we can
work out the remaining issues before releasing to the public.
The webif story:
What to do with webif/webif2 for 1.0? Some days ago I talked to
Markus and he said, he needs webif for some projects, so I decided
to keep nvram based network configuration and webif in parallel to
our new network configuration.
Should we keep it this way, or will be webif2 for our new network
configuration ready in a few weeks?
bye
Waldemar
