Hi all,

I vote to remove the ${V} variable from trunk and always make
the build process very verbose.

If someone is building over a slow connection, (s)he can use
'make v' in a background process (e.g. GNU screen), and then
run 'while sleep 2; do tail -n 3 make.log; done' to monitor.

Users are going to use WIB only anyway.

The ---> thingies can be made in boldface (or intense), if
that's desired, I know a way to do it that does not disturb
script loggers etc. - if someone needs them for overview.

bye,
//mirabile
