I think we should concentrate on routers with a least 8 MB flash/32 MB RAM and no EOL if they have no other interesting features (like: PCMCIA, DSL-built-in, etc.). I would like to see support for the Fritz!Box 7170 (built in ISDN+Analog+ADSL), but it's another plattform. Does anyone know a box with Gigabit-NICs?
