Already done, indeed. >For the locale support, I do not see the really need of it. That's why I made it an optional component. >language support That's internationalised error messages and the like. I do not want this (ENOSPC = “Kein Weltraum links auf dem Blitz” or so). >which should be a web interface >(and this hopefully works without locale support in the libc). Actually, basic SUSv3 locale support plus iconv makes this much easier and smaller to implement in such components. Additionally, libstdc++ already picks it up automatically (no idea about uClibc++). >Btw., have you take a look into the new version of uClibc (0.9.29)? Not yet. Interesting idea. Who did the update last time? I might even do it, corresponding with him (and maybe a certain helpful developer from that Other WRT) for things to look for first. But I don't know if we want this pre-1.1. bye, //mirabile -- I believe no one can invent an algorithm. One just happens to hit upon it when God enlightens him. Or only God invents algorithms, we merely copy them. If you don't believe in God, just consider God as Nature if you won't deny existence. -- Coywolf Qi Hunt _______________________________________________ freewrt-developers mailing list [email protected] https://www.freewrt.org/lists/listinfo/freewrt-developers
