>From our point of view, this is not OK. For many VPN solution, we have only NTP open in the firewall, not rdate (wenn FreeWRT is behind a firewall!). So this does not work anymore. I suggest to revert it and discuss alternatives. BTW: does this really work (a running ntpd and another process overwriting the system time)?
