Can't estimate, best is probably to ask nbd or so.
Besides the obvious (someone with at least two devices needs
to port it, we need a couple of devs (XTaran and n0-1 have
volunteered) with the devices), it's probably just taking
some of the related patches from OpenWrt into our brcm-2.4 set.
(No idea about brcm-2.6 though...)
