How about Proxiweb - an online web browser - the clever bit is the Proxy
server it drags pages from... this takes ordinary web pages, strips the crap
out, shrinks the graphics and makes them 2bit, then serves them to your Palm
- so it comes down fast enough for GSM. It even allows SSL either side of
the proxy, and stores cookies on the server for you (how kind!)...

A nice feature if you happen to use your work dial-up on your Palm (well,
its a freephone number here at Dell) is that you can set it to ALWAYS use
SSL between Palm and Proxy (only 40bit, but hey) - so no company snoopers
can see what you're viewing - not, of course, that I have anything to hide.

My fave is probably Avantgo, the offline web browser thing.

What's your fave palm app? I am currently enamoured of Frotz, which allows
me to play all the old Scott Adams adventure games.

I bought SimCity, which is quite cool. I want to get hold of FlashPro, which
allows you to use uncomitted flash memory to store apps + data.

Oh yeah... and Quartus Forth - a great lanquage for the palm platform
