--- F R E N D Z of martian --- I've just spent the weekend playing Asheron's Call - a multi player 3d adventure - pretty much a MUD with quake-like graphics. It is loads of fun even if it is published by M$ and you pay $10/mnth to play What really enhances it though, is a mike and Roger Wilco (http://www.rogerwilco.com) - a voice chat tool which uses directX so it doesn't clash with the sound of the game.
