Dear Frendz of marsbard
Can anyone explain why the Web does not like Irish names.

my surname is O'Callaghan

but ntl have it has O%27Callaghan
compfutures made it O\"\"Callaghan
and quite a few have just choked

Is an a apostrophe really that difficult to deal with?
or is it just lazy script writers only going for A-Z ?

I know that it is a perl script thing the %27 thing (please correct me if I
am wrong)
but a decent explaination would be nice.

the last thing you want is a load of angry Irish surfers!

Thanx in advance
John
