/. has a story on Google's Page Speed Service:

http://tech.slashdot.org/story/11/07/28/1232258/Google-Announces-Google-CDN
http://code.google.com/speed/pss/

I ran the service test on my website and on sfx:

backspaces: http://goo.gl/TgKBr
sfcomplex: http://goo.gl/8fg8K

Bottom line is that it makes a significant difference for a "full featured"
site like sfx and a moderate difference for "the rest of us". Sfx, for
example, gets > 40% improvement in page start, and page load. Check out the
videos (scroll down) associated with the tests.

I don't know what they'll eventually charge, but it might be worth it if it
turns out to be as good as it appears.
