I saw that .. but found that there is a bit of controversy: the data roaming is 2G some claim.
To tell the truth, it seem to me that GSM should have world wide roaming .. data and voice .. to take advantage of their GSM standard. Its quite a pain to have to get a temp SIM every time I go to Italy. And I've not found an easy way to get the pay-as-you-go SIMs activated, even tho they are supposed to last about a year. I'm guessing Tmo is looking to approach this: GSM worldwide roaming. If so, I'd switch.
