Subject: [FRIAM] EM Drive

What was once thought to be a kooky-science space propulsion engine, the EM
Drive has been proven to be real:

http://www.sciencealert.com/it-s-official-nasa-s-peer-reviewed-em-drive-paper-has-finally-been-published

Unfortunately it appears to violate Newton's third law re: action/reaction in
traditional thrust based rocket engines.

Several attempts to reconcile how the EM Drive works have odd side effects. The
current favorite is an unusual alternative to the traditional interpretation of
quantum mechanics, "Pilot Wave" theory:

Ruth, Bruce and others: is this quackery?

If not, it certainly is going to be a Brave New World!
