Frank, what is clear to me is that pre-K delivered by students and graduates of the Harvard School of Ed (and equivalents) provides enormous positive benefits. This does not mean that pre-K delivered by graduates of NMHU (nor, probably, any of the schools of ed in this state) will provide the same benefits. Also the nebulous definition of pre-K in the failed ballot initiative would have allowed those with no college education or training to offer "Pre-K" services. What assurance would there be that this quality level of "Pre-K" would have any benefits, let alone the "enormous" benefits cited by Deborah? davew
