I laughed. Thanks. It woulda been better as "Leave the Future". I'd go to that
school.

But they score pretty well here: https://kylesaunders.com/university-map/, up in
quadrant I, as does my alma mater aTm (which embarrassingly just forbade a phil prof
from teaching Plato 'cause it's too woke [sigh]
<https://dailynous.com/2026/01/06/texas-am-bans-plato/>). So given that
universities are dying, maybe the rebrand is wise even though it seems so silly?

I'm supposed to go to a conference at Evergreen this week, here in Oly. I may
be too busy. But Evergreen scores in quadrant III, which is the worst. The only
thing they're good at is revenue diversity ... but I guess that's out of
necessity.

you might find it interesting that the University of Minnesota just spent $15

I couldn't figure out the 2nd line in the attached picture of the TV
screen. I like to think I'm a pretty flexible thinker. But there's NO
WAY in hell I ever would have thought to say something like "News are
real". Even when Perplexity told me it says "News are real", I didn't
believe it. I've even had arguments with grammar nazis over whether or
not it's OK to write "data is ...". You'd think I'd have been prepared
to believe there exist victims of the grammar nazis who are so
traumatized they would put "News are real" on their virtue sign. So
cringe. But then again, how cringe is it that I can't even see what's
right in front of my face?
