Most of it is self-serving, of course. 8, 9, and 19 are plausible, though. 12
suspiciously combines two unrelated issues and it is suspicious to raise 15 at
the same time (especially self-serving). 17, darkly self-serving. 20 and 21 are
in direct opposition. If we are to expose cultures for critique (fine),
religion is an immediate target. Criticism for defective ideas is essential,
nothing can be sacred. The natural result of deconstructing ideas is
fragmentation. Fragmentation is not a problem in a plural society. If there
some reason that some class of nation states is valuable, it isn’t revealed in
this list. They should name the bad thing, and explain why, not force the
reader to adopt their premise on faith. Today, the premise there are any good
guys and bad guys, and that the U.S. is on the good side, is really an open
question.

Subject: [FRIAM] Palantir Manifesto

I was alerted to the 22 point manifesto by this post:

Here are the 22 points:

There are all these hidden assumptions and unjustified assertions in there. It
can be tricky, though. I happen to agree with several of them. But that's what
makes it insidious. There also seem to be a lot of implicit contradictions. So
I thought I'd give a Lean setup a shot. I'm terrible at it. I can't even
understand how the build system works. So it's a good exercise. Admittedly, I
used AI to help. Now I just need to start testing the assertions.
