Hello, I just wanted to let people know that we had 7 new subscribers to the friends mailing list yesterday, after I sent out a message the old co-op mailing lists about the buying club. Thanks everyone! I am forwarding four messages I got below as an introduction; plus Megan Riley, Laura Cunningham, and Wayne McAuliffe also joined, (but I didn't have their emails left around to forward...) Anyway, a couple people chose the digest option when subscribing, but since traffic on this list has been very low so far, I think it's best if we all get individual messages for now (which are easy to keep track on in your inbox due to the [Buying-Club] subject tag. I did setup a moderated digest version of this list seperately today, but this is still in testing. (Eventually, I may suggest trying both versions for a while to see which one is best for you, but NOT YET.) Finally, I wanted to suggest that our first meeting could be the day the Mountain People's order is delivered to Art Dogs, since we will have to get together to split it up anyway! I will be out of town for this weekend starting in a few hours, so it will be up to everyone on this list to work together to get your orders to Marigael on time.
