Hi all,
Our first wholesale order came in today, and man, was I kind of awed by the
sheer amount ofstuff I ordered. It's all food I use, so no problem in the
long run, but thought I would put itout that I do have an abundance of the
following items, if anyone would like some all they have to do is e-mail me
and I will bring it into the store the following day. The prices are
really great I think. I bought a case each of the following, so have a bit
of each available,on a first ask basis.

for me. Yum.)
TUNO canned bogus Tuna 12.5 oz can $2.50 (Dolphin AND Tuna Safe)
Marantha Organic Creamy Salted Peanut Butter 16 oz jar $2.70
Can I bore you all with my diatribe on Organic Peanut Butter? Here it is:
if you buy only one organic product in the world, make it Peanut Butter.
Why? Peanuts are grown in crop rotation with cotton, and something like
2/3s of the world's pesticides are used on cotton, to battle the dreaded
weevil. Funky stuff, that you wouldn't be allowed to use on food. So most
peanuts, which are grown where the cotton grows every three or four years,
are growing in some of the most toxic soil outside of a nuclear dump site.
Also, homogenizing peanut butter, so that the oil won't separate from the
rest makes in basically indigestible to the average human. (Ditto for homo
milk). Is it any wonder that peanut allergies are up over 1000 percent over
thirty years ago? Anyone for Skippy?
Well that's it. If you want any of the above, give me an e-shout and I will
share the wealth so to speak. Hope to see many of you Sunday 10am at Art
Dogs on Vassar.
One last thing, I also bought a pound of Frontier dried sweet basil.
If any one wants, bring a spice jar and I will fill it with fragrant, sweet
basil for 50 cents! Such a deal!
