Hello, Since Earth Day, Karinn and I have been visiting some Organic farms in this area, and offering the opportunity to sell directly to members of the buying club at BuyOrganic.org. It has been great fun, and we hope to create pages on the website for each farm we visit, complete with pictures and details of what they grow. THE SPINACH IS IN Yesterday, Steve and Marcia Litsinger of Churchill Butte Horticulture, an off-the-grid solar powered farm in Stagecoach, Nevada, called to say the Spinach is in! They expect to have 20 lbs of LOCALLY GROWN Certified Organic Spinach to sell to our group. They will be in Reno on Monday, May 21, and will also bring about 25 bunches each of Taragon, Sage, Thyme, Parsley, and 10-15 bunches of Mint.
