In a landmark judgement, the European Court has ruled that ISPs cannot be forced to filter P2P networks for copyright infringement. This case has been running for years, and is widely seen as a major test case. The court's ruling is broadly based, and addresses many of the key issues in the disputes about whether ISPs should be forced into the role of copyright police. This is a huge victory for network operators across the EU. For details see: https://publicaffairs.linx.net/news/?p=6253 -- Pierre-Yves Maunier
