While touring a new data centre in Tallinn (Estonia has one of the highest 
startup tech per capita ratios in the world), I encountered a new way to 
suppress fire or rather prevent them from even starting. As it was explained, 
one can either reduce oxygen levels to levels consistent with high altitude 
Alps or Tibet or add nitrogen to the air. In either case techs can still work. 
Ironically they go outside after a while to smoke. 😄
