probably you noticed that there were no freeze before 0.5pre1. this was
mainly because:
1) the usual setup bugs are now discovered by the testsuite, so there was
   only one unexpected bug in the setup
2) there were heavy updates in the last 2 days (freetype, xorg) so the
   snapshot iso _before_ these updates are released as 0.5pre1
3) freeze is a bad but necessary event, this time it was possible to
   avoid it

so the isos are on the mirrors, the announcement draft is at
http://wiki.frugalware.org/Announce-0.5, it'll be done tomorrow morning
