Hi all!
I wrote a patch for setup to replace this line:
fw_system("pacman -Sy -r ./");
With a bunch of libalpm calls. I decided to send it here first without
directly applying it in case there was some major problem/memory
leak/eat-your-disk problem, but it worked fine in my testing (in QEMU) ;)
