I have thought for a while that it would be fun to give people the opportunity to post comments about each Frugalware newsletter issue. Of course I have no idea what people might say. I would hope that people would comment about the content, possibly discussing the featured packages, tips and tricks etc. Doing this with homepage-ng as it is would be difficult since it's all custom PHP.
Another approach would be to have each issue appear in the forum as a new forum topic. Anyone wanting to comment could then post messages on that topic. This method would make my life easier because I then wouldn't have to work with git. I don't know why but I struggle with git when doing even the simplest of tasks. For an example of what this might look like, here is an example used by the Linux Outlaws podcast in their forums - http://linuxoutlaws.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=5 Since Devil505 wants to move our forums to phpBB3 I won't do anything until that move is complete (assuming it happens). In fact I won't do anything on this for a few weeks, in case someone has good reason not to make this change. I need to think about whether or not we could still have an RSS feed for the newsletters, since people may currently subscribe to the thread and I would want this to continue.
