Now I take that back. After bumping python itself to 2.7 I rebuilt 464 packages, and there are only 10 remaining ones: eric: depends on pyqt eric4: depends on qscintilla2-python-qt3 ethos: ftbfs psyco: ftbfs pyqt: ftbfs in current as well qscintilla2-python-qt3: depends on pyqt service-discovery-applet: can't find avahi snack: ftbfs at-spi: ftbfs (make problem) clearsilver: ftbfs in current as well (ruby issue) So as you see nothing major (pyqt is version 3, pyqt4 is fine) - I'll try to fix up more from the above list tomorrow, but some of these may take a long time to fix so possibly the best is to just merge python27 to current in this state and we can fix up in current the remaining ones. In case nobody objects, I'll probably merge it on Friday.
