Thanks. It's not urgent or anything , I built it myself and all went
well. Well not at first because I built it with USE=n , then set the
USE to y and then built it again. That didn't work.
 With a clean build of qt4 though everything seems fine, I'll install
the packages and see if QtCreator can find the examples then.
 By the way it took less then 1 hour to build on my Core 2 Duo @ 3200
( actually something like 30 min ).

I also compiled Qt with rasterizer as default to see how that goes.
There's been talk that it's going to be default in Qt 4.8 and I do
have some nasty rendering glitches that happened with both ATI and
Nvidia cards. I think we talked about it before. Worst of all is if
effects are disabled in KDE and you shut down. I'm guessing they were
cause by the latest Xorg change.

Going a little off-topic here but could you please look at the Akonadi
thread when you have time. You had some good remarks the last time and
I tried to fix that. If all is well we could close that issue too.
