kdetesting is about as ready as we can get. Only ppc needs to sync before we can merge. I've already handled all the packages that rely on lzma/xz explicitly or through indirect libraries, however I did stumble upon a few that use them, but don't specify it in their depends. Just one of the problems with having lzma/xz installed in chroot by default. What does this mean? It means there may be more packages requiring a rebuild than I can find via just normal dependency checking. I don't know how to deal with this, except fix them when they make themselves known. Anyway, I could use some volunteers to at least upgrade to kdetesting, even if you don't use KDE. The repo includes an lzma/xz change that breaks any packages that linked to them. I've already rebuilt all the obvious ones. I need your help to see if there's any ones left that break systems before the merge can be done. I'd say we can merge on Monday or Tuesday if no one discovers issues we can't fix in that time. Add this to /etc/pacman-g2/repos/kdetesting:
[kdetesting] Server=http://ftp.frugalware.org/pub/other/people/ryuo/kdetesting/frugalware-(arch) Obviously, replacing (arch) with your architecture. I await feedback, thank you. _______________________________________________ Frugalware-devel mailing list [email protected] http://frugalware.org/mailman/listinfo/frugalware-devel
