Hi There's been a major change for our java packages. We used to have many of them that still used gcj which is now deprecated. Now almost all packages in Frugalware are compiled with openjdk7 ( IcedTea ) and require openjre to work.
Please test them all, and maybe check if you're the m8r of a java package, it might have been modified. Apps that come to mind for testing are TuxGuitar and lxmed which is an lxde menu editor. Add this to /etc/pacman-g2.conf, ensuring it is before current. Include = /etc/pacman-g2/repos/openjava Add this to /etc/pacman-g2/repos/openjava: [openjava] Server=http://ftp.frugalware.org/pub/other/people/mcirsta/openjava/frugalware-@CARCH@ Replace @CARCH@ with your appropriate architecture. Now: pacman-g2 -Syu _______________________________________________ Frugalware-devel mailing list [email protected] http://frugalware.org/mailman/listinfo/frugalware-devel
