Thanks for the update, I was really looking forward for TexLive2015 :D
I've just tried it on my bachelor thesis and didn't notice anything weird on 
the result.
The only issue I had was with bibliography:
seems the biblatex package now defaults to biber which is not packaged (or at 
least I couldn't find it), so I had to explicitly set bibtex as backend.

Not a big issue but I guess it would be nice to have biber packaged, since it 
offers quite some improvements over bibtex.
