Hi,

So yesterday I received my NetGear WGR14L "Open Source Router" which
has even the website on www.myopenrouter.com - Pretty click.. The
"odd" thing about this open source router is that it will not run any
of the firmware dd-wrt, tomato or openwrt natively and on the website
has several modified versions of those. And I think I was in bad luck
when I was not sastisfied with the bugs in those modified versions and
flashed the router several times and on the 4th or 5th try... I
bricked it.

I tried to connect to the router JTAG with some serial built-in serial
ports and it did not work and outputed garbage on my console window, I
guess it's because of different voltage rating. So if any of you have
a USB to Serial cable that has 3.3V rating, can you let me know so I
don't have to spend another $20 on that cable and will be able to
resurrect my router, I will greatly appreciate it.
