Today is such an eventful day.

The Alpha 3 version of *ubuntu is also released today, so if you're
feeling lucky, please try and report bugs back to the Ubuntu team.

I have a local mirror of the Kubuntu Lucid 64bit alternative ISO at
http://vh201001:8080/isos/lucid-desktop-amd64.iso for those who are too
lazy to wait for download -- on campus only.

If every went well on my laptop without major issues, I will also
upgrade my desktop computer to this version, due to the fantastic
Windows 7-alike windows snapping feature and window tabbing feature of
the new version -- it will make every program have tabs *on the title
bar* like Chrome. If you love Chrome, you'll love KDE 4.4.
