Hi FSCKers!

Thank you all for coming today! For those who didn't have a chance to
come: I have recorded the introductory speech and it will be live on
Youtube soon (as soon as I figure out how to split and chop video using
ffmpeg). I will announce when the video is live.

So Ubuntu is coming this weekend and we will have an installFest next
weekend (or maybe the weekend after the next -- need ideas on this?).
We'll have it mirrored on Truman's talc server (http://talc.truman.edu),
so check there for @10Mbps+ download on campus.

We'll help `n00bs' installing Linux on the Fest, so you might want to
explore how to install Linux properly by yourself.

As far as I know, the process will be easy (point+click), but if you
want to learn something, there are a couple of ideas in ordered by level
of awesomeness:

 Level 1 (I'm better than a n00b):
 - What is x86 and amd64?

 - Installing FlashPlayer Square instead of the current one so we can
 watch hulu.

Level 2 (I do it like in Hollywood movies):
 - How to create a live USB key.

 - The alternative installation CD is awesome.
Try it instead of using the ``live'' CD.

 - Change your repo to Truman's mirror so you have 100Mbps apt-get
 install:

Level 3 (I change my distro every 3 days):
 - Disk Partitioning: Doing it properly will save us from disasters,
make further upgrades easier, and save us from crying if things go
   wrong.

Red Hat has an awesome explanation on file systems & partitioning:
An Introduction to Disk Partitions: http://goo.gl/hhta
   Recommended Partitioning Scheme: http://goo.gl/eO9w

We can talk about all that on the Fest.

Happy hacking!
