I, with RMS's support, applied informally for charitable status for
the FSFC, and our application was rejected. To pursue the matter
further would likely require a court action, which I am not willing to
undertake right now pro bono. Of course, if somebody would pay my
fees, or some approximation of them, I (and, more importantly, my
partners) might think again about the matter.
