Maersk and TDC operate online music ventures and are two of the most powerful companies in Europe. Denmark wants general DRM interoperability that would eliminate customer lock-in, similar to the laws in France. Brian Mikkelsen, the Danish Minister of Culture, said that legislation addressing the matter would be introduced in 2007.
